Family Visits in June

We were so blessed to have both of my parents and my grandma fly out for a 2 week holiday this June. I love having people visit, although nothing ever goes completely smooth, it's fun to share our adventures. Ava really loved all the attention and warmed up to my mom and dad quickly. She even prayed for Grandma Klassen by name " thank you for great great great. . . .Grandma" is what she said every night.

We traveled and saw a ton of stuff but also tried to be home for dinners. It's little things like meals, evening fires, reminiscing stories, having Dr. Meldrum ultrasound our baby for everyone to see, that make me the most happy. When you only have 1 or 2 visits a year it's the small things you crave. Between my mom and I there were so many photos taken that picking just a few was hard. I tried to choose ones that showed our real experiences.

It was whirlwind 2 weeks and I'm so glad everyone braved the terrible long/boring flight, fought the severe jet leg and endured the long car rides back and forth across country. Our 3 years is almost in it's grand finale and the last 365 days are going be an adventure when we add little man Miller to the family.
