Camp was so much fun this year. Maybe because it was literally 20 minutes from my house. . . I didn't have to coordinate rides or haul girls stuff? Maybe because the Stake did an awesome job of keeping us busy and feeding us every meal (not 1 ounce of cooking was done by me!) Maybe it was because I was feeling amazing at 26 weeks pregnant. Nights were chilly but I brought a touque, duvet, sleeping bag, hoodie, and thick warm socks. I didn't however remember to take many pictures but some funny things happened. PRANKS. I have never been to camp with so many pranks. Honestly I don't remember a single prank (other than Snipes) being played on me while growing up. This year Thetford Ward YW were notorious. Even us leaders pulled a few (stealing the camp whistle and holding it for ransom.) My poor beehives had it hard. They just didn't understand why anyone would even "think" about touching their stuff/moving their stuff/turning their stuff inside out. . . I have never taken part in a better or longer snipe hunt then I experienced this year. It was great! Every time someone suggested ways of luring out a snipe the girls fell head over heals with gullibility. Toothpaste on the nose, no direct light in the bushes, be very quiet, no one has caught a Snipe in 5 years. . .
