Holidays with Grandma Robison

My mom came to visit for the holidays, and of course spoil the kidos rotten! Ava was so excited to see her and had counted down the days for over a month! We told her that as soon as Grandma was here we could put up our tree, and that was the very first thing we did together. Ava was great at making sure all the bottom branches were evenly decorated!

These clay gingerbread cookie decorations were her favorite. Her teacher at pre school said it was all she talked about for days.

Last year we set up our tree but weren't able to enjoy it for very long because we spent the holidays with the Miller's in St George. This year I taught Ava the Robison tradition of laying under the tree and looking through the branches at all the lights while daydreaming about what Santa would bring on Christmas morning.

Then we made Gingerbread men. Ava had a blast with Grandma rolling, cutting, baking and decorating all the men. Mom loved my apron so much that she bought all the sister in-laws matching ones. So twinsie. . .Special moments in the making

Ava decorated and redecorated this lower half of her gingerbread man about 8 times.

Thanks mom, for sharing these memories with us. It means a lot to have family for the holidays!
