Framlingham Castle

Just on the cusp of Spring/Easter we visited Framlingham Castle.  They had a cute little egg hunt word scramble.  Ava had to run around the castle ruins and find letters on wooden eggs, then unscramble them to receive a chocolate sweetie.  The Castle has a long history and once was the refuge of Mary Tudor before she became Queen in 1553.

During the Tudor Period brick was very fashionable and it was used to create many chimneys for the castle some real some purely ornamental.

It was a fun day, topped off with terrific IcE cReAm!
