September at the Beach

We took a final trip to the beach in September.

This beach allows dogs so Jessie came too.

The water was a little chilly, but Ava spent to whole day digging in the sand.

Hauling more and more water, only to break every castle she built, 2 seconds after she built it!

This is my castle, built with no shovels or buckets. Ava broke it as well!

So I dug a hole and put her in it

Jessie also dug holes, lots of holes

When the tide started to come in, we headed for the dunes. Beach dunes are really beautiful things, but hard to climb. The sand is too soft and the child your holding is too heavy!
