I watched Mamma Mia yesterday and when the song "Slipping Through my Fingers" played I just lost it. Putting so much focus on having a second baby has made me feel much more appreciation and love for the blessings I already have in my life and especially for my little girl Ava. She is a joy and brings a smile to my face from the moment we say "good morning" to each other till the words "have a good sleep my precious Rubies" at night. I can't believe she is 3 in just a few weeks! My mother must feel the exact same way about me and that is a touching thought. I love my memories of me and mom and I especially love the ones we get to make now that I am a mom too. I don't want time to slip through my fingers!

Diane, Ava is so lucky to have such a good Mother. You are beautiful in every way! David is lucky to have such a awesome wife and mother of his child. But then coming from his old mother, I think you are lucky to have David and a beautiful little daughter. We have all been so blessed in our lives to have such sweet healthy children. I would be so ungreatful if I didn't thank my Heavenly Father everyday for each and everyone of you. Thank you for being in our lives too. We are truely blessed to have you in our family and yes, whether your child is a girl or a boy, cherish every moment with them.
