Anne Boleyn's Hever Castle

I really wanted to see Hever Castle and since Dave had already toured the inside while we were in Canada he agreed to watch the kids while I took the "no camera" tour.  It's sad to think I will never get back there and I won't ever have inside pictures.
The grounds of Hever are so beautiful!  I missed out on most of the roses since we visited Sept 1, 2012 but the landscaping was still amazing.  It's all so green! What a fun day we had.

This was the water maze.  There were special stones that sprayed water if you stepped on them.

Ava was picked to participate in a theatrical story telling of the Goddess Athena.

We rented a row boat and took a ride around the lake.  Owen fell asleep in my arms just minutes after leaving the dock but Ava was on a mission.  She had to ring the bell in the center of the lake and look for a special clue letter which would unlock a treasure box of golden chocolate. The clue was the letter "H"
