March 2012

With March came Owen's 4 month mark.  He is growing so fast and becoming so handsome.

We pulled the old high chair out of the attic

Owen pulled a classic baby poop in the Bumbo trick. This was so NASTY that I had to take a picture.

An early Easter box arrived from Grandma and Grandpa Miller

Ava had a teacher (Miss Sarah) get married in March, so the class held a 'Wedding Party.' Turns out Ava was the only girl who came dressed as a bride, but that meant she got to play wedding with Ruben.  Lucky girl, Ruben isn't a bad looking little guy. . .

On March 17 (St Patrick's Day) Ava awoke to a chocolate treat left by a certain leprechaun.  She enjoyed pinching papa all day as they adventured in London all on their own.

Poor Owen woke up with a terrible rash.  I thought it was the start of chicken pox, but after a trip to the ER we found out it was only a viral infection   We stayed home and tended to our troubles while Dave and Ava took the tube into London.

Ava excited for her daddy daughter St Patrick's day date, to the London Natural History Museum!

They had such a great time that the very next weekend we decided to do it all over again, this time with Mama and Owen.  Heck why not, the museum is free!  Only this time we toured the NHM a little faster and squeezed in a little Air and Science Museum as well.  When I say a 'little' I mean like maybe we saw 1/4 of the entire place.  It's huge with so many things to play, read and experience.  Ava has been talking about going back for a third visit!

Keeping busy on the tube while we ride

Ava really loved all the space stuff at the Science Museum.  She was bouncing from one display to the next.

The Chilean rescue pod sent down a collapsed mine shaft which saved 33 men in Oct 2010.
