We finally were able to take possession of our new van. After driving the truck with 2 kids squeezed in the back and a soaking wet stroller wrapped in garbage bags for 3 months, the 2 hour drive to Windsor Castle was pure luxury!
The end of February was bitterly cold but our trip to Windsor was really fun. Windsor is the weekend home of the Queen. We stood in line too long to see the miniature doll house, but the almost life size dress up dolls from France were every little girls dream! They had a photographic time walk through the Queens 60 years in reign but of course you can't take any pictures.

Windsor village was really cute and typically British.
Even the local Mc Donalds had a 'ROYAL THEME"
We 'splurged' and bought the Audio Tour. Usually the kids won't let us go slow enough to listen to much, but Dave took charge of the kids and I was able to listen to everything!
I love the Queen-ish details
This is the center courtyard and official entrance.
The next day we stopped by my father in laws MISSION HOME in Bristol! No longer an LDS mission home but still very cool!

Can you spot Ava in the background?
The octopus was my favorite! He sure was FAST
Ava looking at the Sea Horses from a rare inside view.
There was a scratch and see work sheet that was fun, and very educational even for me.
Eskimo O had a good time
