Legoland

The summer is quickly passing and since it's our last here in England we have so much to do.  After emptying our pocketbooks we bought tickets to LEGOLAND.  Having never talked about this place before, Ava had no clue it even existed, but we had a great day!  The sun was out and it didn't rain, that always means a good day in England.

Because it was such a nice day we realized everyone in England came out the same day we did. We headed for Pirate Falls Dynamite Drench, a 'long line' ride.  There was lego for the kids to play with while parents stood in line, How Smart!

Ava was nervous to get wet but I told her it would be fun and we would dry off quickly

She knew we were getting close to the drop and was getting really scared!

After the trauma of Pirate Falls, we headed towards The Dragon Roller coaster.

Ava at the starting queue for the roller coaster.

Dave waiting and waiting, can you spot him?

We rode the coaster a few times, her is Ava and I

Ava had us bip bopping all over the park, going from ride to ride.  Next was the Spinning Spider. This is before the ride.

After the ride...

Feeling a time crunch because half the day was gone, we headed over to the longest line ride: Atlantis Submarine

Finally entering the submarine after 40 minutes in line!

Owen thought it was really neat.

There were lots of lego fish and coral and even strange looking mermaids!

We had to take turns riding with Ava, because Owen was too small but Mr Handsome still had a great day.

Next Dave and Ava went on Dino Safari

Mom and Ava went through Fire Academy

Owen watched as we had fun

Yup officially Ava's new favorite place!
It was such a fun day but getting out of the parking lot was a different matter.  Too many people leaving at the same time makes a terrible traffic jam in a bottleneck of a parking lot!
